Mayra Lopez, DDS

Mayra Lopez, DDS, is a general and family dentist at Club Atlantis Dental, providing comprehensive dentistry to individuals and families in Miami Beach, Florida, and Miami-Dade County.

Dr. Lopez began her education at La Universidad de Ciencias Medicas in San José, Costa Rica, earning her undergraduate degree. Then, she enrolled at the University of Pinar Del Rio in Cuba, obtaining a degree in periodontics. 

After graduation, Dr. Lopez moved to the United States and completed a general practice residency at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. There, she received extensive training in various aspects of dentistry, including orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and the treatment of gum disease.

At Club Atlantis Dental, Dr. Lopez provides high-quality oral health care to people of all ages. She diagnoses and treats a variety of dental issues, but has a special interest in implant dentistry, bone grafting, and sinus augmentation.

Dr. Lopez is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the South Florida District Dental Association. She’s also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. 

Dr. Lopez believes that continuing education is a key component of professional success. She regularly participates in training courses and seminars throughout the year to stay abreast of changes and technological advances in the field.
