If your provider confirms you’re a candidate for clear aligner treatment, they take impressions of your mouth. Then, they upload your scans to a software program and develop a personalized treatment plan, mapping the precise movements of your teeth.

Your dentist explains the treatment plan to you and answers your questions. Then, they send your scans to an orthodontic lab that creates a series of custom-made mouthpieces. 

When the lab completes your clear aligners, you return to Club Atlantis Dental to try them on. Your provider makes adjustments to ensure a comfortable fit and explains how to achieve optimal results. 

Does treatment with clear aligners take a long time?

The time that treatment with clear aligners takes depends on your alignment issues and how often you wear your aligners. 

People with mild to moderate alignment issues usually achieve the desired outcome in 12 months*, but more severe alignment issues often take longer. Wear your clear aligners 20-22 hours daily, only removing them to brush, floss, and eat.
